Who am I? Who is anyone? We are all just random collections of memories and sensations... Oh, you meant in a non-metaphysical sense. oops.
I'm a 29 year-old, female postdoc (like a medical resident but for Ph.D.'s instead of M.D.'s) at UNC. In real life I have most of the pets you'll see in 1 BR. APT. and then some. I've been with my SO for 11+ years, currently long distance. I think that's why I have so many pets. Not used to living alone. (sob!)
What are your hobbies?
I read a lot (sci-fi, fantasy, general novels, comic books), watch a lot of movies (I love you Netflix!), and watch anime weekly at UNC's club (why yes, I am a huge geek, why do you ask?). I'm currently trying to teach myself guitar.
How old are your pets?
Scamper was about five years old when she died. That's young for a fixed female bunny, but she was fixed too early, which may have had something to do with it. Tripod is a little over a year old, but acts like a grumpy old man. I've had rabbits for the last six or seven years. They're great pets. I also have a cat who is just shy of a year old and totally insane. The frogs are about 1.5 years old. The crickets don't last long enough to count. I also have puffers, they're about 4 months old.
Do you have siblings?
Yup. A brother and a sister. Both younger. My sister has kids so I get to spoil them regularly.
When did you first realise "Oh, I wanna make a web comic!"
My boyfriend made me read Something Positive in January '04. I devoured it and developed a raging webcomics addiction. At some point I decide that this was too cool not to try.

Yup again. He harasses me if I go too long without updating and is regularly throwing ideas at me.
What do your friends think about it?
Dunno. I haven't told all that many people. Those who have looked have liked it.
What inspires you?
Lots of stuff. Stupid things I see in real life (like low-carb butter or undergrads who don't know how to dress themselves) ends up in there. Plus crazy things my pets do. Or would do if they had the ability.
Do you play music while you think of each comic, or is it a 10 minute job?
Not usually, but that's because I can't concentrate on dialog with lyrics playing. My brain is wierd.
